RayzorX

Aug. 20, 2007

Easily transported and set up by one person for a fast response, the RayzorX is a real-time solution for inspecting a ticking bomb in a public place, the threat of CBRN or unconventional dirty bombs. The Amorphous Silicon imager is 13mm thin thinner than a film cassette and can therefore easily be slipped behind a suspicious object placed against a wall. The panel provides superb resolution of more than 3.5 lp/mm and a dynamic range of 14 bits (16,384 gray levels). The system from Vidisco, including the X-ray source, is completely contained in one case, fully battery operated, laptop driven and uses one thin lightweight cable providing both power and data requirements. RayzorX sets a new standards for a lightweight, thinnest imager and compact unit.
